The Travellers is very family orientated and has a very relaxed atmosphere with a good mix of people young and old. Children are now invited into The Travellers between noon-8pm. All sport is shown from Sky Sports and Setanta with all rugby league games being shown. A pool team has just been formed and is playing in the local league on a Thursday night, pool tables also have free play from 7pm on Thursdays. General Quiz night is held on Thursdays at 9.15pm and Pop Quiz on Sundays at 6pm. Saturday nights from 8pm we have our 60s 70s and 80s DJ night with a few modern songs played as well. Our food menu is one of the best in the area and has some wonderful offers including 2 for £7 on certain dishes. Bookings are also taken if you want to make sure your special event is held in The Travellers. We have fantastic offers on wines with certain bottles selling from £6.95 and just recently have introduced 2 cask ales into the pub.
