Trades House
Walk past The Trades House at night and you'll see it illuminated by lights in the pavement, highlighting the stained-glass windows with their images of bakers, engineers, weavers and other trades. Priding itself on its good service, friendly welcome and great food, it's a busy city-centre pub with tremendous character, appealing to a lively mix of people, from pensioners calling in for morning coffee to concert-goers en route to the Caird Hall, workers from the nearby bingo hall, shoppers, students and local businesses. All are assured of a distinctive menu, an astonishing range behind the bar and lots of great company.
