Coach & Horses
A pub with the name Coach & Horses has been on this site in Soho since 1739, and the existing building dates back to a similar era. The famous poet Percy Shelley had lodgings opposite the pub since 1811 where he wrote several famous pieces. It's believed this that this was his local watering hole, before he eloped with Mary - who of course went on to write the infamous 'Frankenstein'. There may not be such monsters here today - just a good pint of ale and some hearty pub food. We're proud of our food, so only the best ingredients make it on to our menu. Choose from pub classics such as Gloucestershire Old Spot Sausages to Haddock & Chips and Burgers - not to mention our lighter mains such as Butternut Squash Risotto and Wholemeal Fusilli Pasta.
