You'd never guess from the pub's warm welcoming atmosphere that its fascinating 400-year history includes a stint as Goring?s mortuary. The legend of this era when the cellar was used as the town's main morgue lives on though with the pub said to be haunted by as many as four ghosts. Today The Bulls Head is a community pub with bags of character and is popular with families dog walkers and beach-goers. Just a few thousand people call Goring-by-Sea home and this small seaside village has a friendly laid-back vibe.
