Situated in the heart of Callander which itself nestles beneath the exhilarating backdrop of Ben Ledi, The Waverley Hotel is ideally situated on the main street, and is within easy access of local amenities and activities. A very traditional Scottish theme is featured in The Waverley's bar and restaurant with various claymores, swords and targets hanging on the walls and the floor covered with the old favourite Waverley tartan carpet. The ground floor has recently been refurbished to a high standard, and received high acclaim from regular guests and travellers alike. The 76 cover restaurant offers an appetising menu based on locally sourced food, is open from Noon till 9pm seven days a week, and includes some of Scotland's favourite and classic meals. The bar has the biggest and best selection of Cask Ales in Callander and was a winner of the CAMRA Forth Valley Pub of the Year, is Cask Marque and ACE accredited and stocks a fabulous selection of regular and guest ales that are constantly changing. Accommodation at The Waverley comprises 10 modern, fully en suite and beautifully decorated rooms - 5 doubles, 2 family rooms, 2 singles (small doubles) and 1 suite. Each room is equipped with flat screen television providing Freeview and some Sky channels, hospitality tray and bathroom amenities. The tariff includes a full cooked Scottish or Continental breakfast. The hotel's other facilities include a lounge showing all major sporting events, with it's own Video player, Pool and Darts; this same room can also seat approximately 60 theatre style, or 50 persons dining, and is also suitable for meetings and as a training facility; a secluded (sun trap) and water feature Beer Garden is also situated at the rear of the building.
