We have opened the doors to the new look Fromebridge Mill featuring a fresh look at our bar and restaurant, and a whole host of new touches and features to make your visit even more enjoyable.

Fromebridge Mill is set in picturesque surroundings beside the River Frome, on the edge of Whitminster Village. You approach the pub down a sweeping driveway and are met by floral displays with wall and hanging baskets. There is a big mill pond and waterwheel to the side with wildlife in abundance to see. Three riverside gardens provide ample seating to relax and enjoy the peaceful surroundings in the summer time. There has been a mill on this site for 1000 years. The building is known to have previously been a cider mill, until more recently when it produced animal feeds until 1999 after which it was converted to its present state. It still contains many of its original features such as wooden beams, mill workings and artefacts.

Being a very popular destination dining venue, it is advisable to book to avoid being disappointed. We are unable to take bookings for Sundays because of the capacity of people coming to dine here (usually 500 - 600 carvery meals)! The superb daily carvery with fresh vegetables and choice of roasts is an extremely popular major feature and is served alongside the varied main menu offering a range of dishes The same menu is available in the restaurant and the bar area.

Having an ideal location with easy access to the M5 at Junction 13, being ten minutes from Swinbridge Wildlife Trust and twenty minutes from Cheltenham this is a venue well worth making a diversion. Be sure to look us up next time you are in the area.
