Foundry
They don't call it The Foundry for nothing. This atmospheric pub with its high pointed ceilings and cosy corners was converted from the ironworks that once stood here. Most of the fittings you see, from the welding masks, chains and ladders to the copper boiler that curves round one set of seats, were discovered on site. It is this authentic history that gives The Foundry its special character and that, along with good service, good food and good drink, accounts for its wide appeal, attracting everyone from pensioners to partygoers, young couples and sports fans all through the week.
