The Old Brewers house is a charming 18th century building which was formerly the family home of Greene King's Chief Brewer. Linked with the Dog & Partridge Public house, next door, one of the first references to the pub was made in the local Bury post in 1791, although long before this date it had actually traded as The Mermaid. It has been refurbished and restored to provide 9 delightful Bed and Breakfast rooms situated on the ground, first and second floors.
